Whether you’re an early riser, middle of the afternoon-er or a night owl, take a look at some of the business shutters up and down Oak Lane. Notice some have had a spruce up? Well, they have! We paired local artists with local businesses, who designed personalised artwork for each building front to make Oak Lane’s very own ‘Shutter Gallery’! From colourful shapes to personal memoirs, each shutter design is bespoke to each business and aims to add a little bit of colour to Oak Lane at all points during the day. 

On an evening or in the morning when the businesses are still closed along the road you will be delighted to see a range of wonderful artwork created by local artists. Each artist worked closely with the business owners to develop a bespoke design for their shutter and the designs range from patterns to text to buildings. 

They serve to brighten up the road even when the shops are closed.
